The Gator wrestling team qualified 9 of 13 wrestlers this weekend for state in Atlanta next weekend.  The Gators put up two sectional champions (Luke Littlefield – 113 and Jacob Allen 195), one 3^rd place (Dakota York – HW), two 4^th placers (Zy Grant – 106 and Jake Gourley – 138), three 6^th placers (Zurell Taylor – 132, Devante Durham – 145, and Shawnmichael Lewis), and one 7^th place finish (Jaquan Barefield – 160).  Jacob Allen made the Gator highlight reel by earning all wins by fall including a 23 second pin vs. Flowery Branch in the finals.  To qualify for the state championship next week wrestlers had to place in the top 8.  For state championship brackets and tournament details visit www.ghsa.net  Full brackets for the sectional tournament are located at www.trackwrestling.com  Individual sectional results are listed below:
