Area Duals Championship

The Ware County Gator wrestlers traveled to New Hampstead Saturday to
compete in the Area 2 AAAAA Dual tournament. The Gators swept the field on
route to winning the 2017 Area 2 AAAAA championship. In their first dual, Ware beat New Hampstead
77- 4 dropping only 1 of the 14 weight classes.
The Gators wrestled Statesboro next and bested them 60-14. This brings the team to 31-4 for the season
in dual competition. The Gators will
travel to Macon for the State Duals Thursday.
