Gators are 3Peat Region Champs!

The Gator wrestling team won their 3rd straight region dual championship Saturday outscoring the competition 134 – 12 losing only 4 matches on the day.  In the pigtail round, Wayne Co. wrestled New Hampstead losing a close dual, pairing up New Hampstead with the Gators in the semifinals.  The Gators dominated New Hampstead in the semis 66 – 12 advancing the Gators to the finals. Statesboro HS beat South Effingham in the semis putting the Blue Devils in the finals with Ware Co.  The Gators ran through the Devils 68 – 12 earning Ware Co. the region title and sending the Gators to the State Dual Championship next Thursday – Saturday.
