11th Annual Swamp Duals 11/9/19

The Gator wrestling started the season strong going 4 – 1 in the 11^th annual Swamp Duals sponsored by Friendly Express.  There were 10 teams in the tournament broken up into 2 pools.  Each team wrestled a round robin in their pool and then wrestled a crossover match based on their pool record.  The Gators went 3 – 1 in their pool beating Toombs Co. 54 – 28, Statesboro 54 – 30, and South Effingham 70 – 12 and dropping their only dual of the day to Colquitt Co. 57 – 18.  The Gators matched up with Tift Co. (3 – 1 in pool play) defeating the Blue Devils 39 – 33 in the championship round.  Richmond Hill was the tournament champion going 4 – 0 in their pool and defeating Colquitt (4 – 0 in their pool) 57 – 21.  The Gators will be travelling to Effingham on Saturday 11/16/19 to compete in the Blue Line duals hosted by Effingham Co.
