The Gator wrestling team placed 5th at the Rebel Invitational hosted by Effingham Co. High School. There were more than 30 teams competing in the tournament. The top 5 teams were South Effingham scoring 274 pts., Brunswick scoring 249 pts., Greenbriar scoring 174.50 pts., Richmond Hill scoring 161.50 pts., and Ware County scoring 157 pts. The Gators had five wrestlers bring home medals: Jabare George, second place, Kamani Gainer, third place, Jon Robertson, fourth place, Landon Hendrix and Wyatt Deal, fifth place. The Gators have a home meet with MCA and Brantley Tuesday, Dec 13th and will travel to Yulee, FL to wrestle in the Yulee Duals on Friday and Saturday, December 16th and 17th.
