The Ware County travelled to Cass HS in Cartersville this weekend to wrestle in the State Quad Prelims. The quad consisted of Ware (Region 1), Kell (Region 6), Cass (Region 7), and Northgate (Region 3). The Gators went 1-1 in the tournament, finishing second; the results are listed below. The Gators dual record is 31-17 for the season. In Round 1 of the tournament Cass defeated Northgate and Ware defeated Kell 65-12. In round 2 Cass defeated Ware 55-24, advancing Cass to the State Duals Championship.
The Gators will head to Brantley on Jan 17. Wrestling will begin at 5 pm.
