Traditional State Championship 2023

 

 

 The Gator and Lady Gator Wrestling teams finished their season with 2 Gators placing in the top 4 in the state.  Junior Jabare George finished 4^th in the 5A classification at 215 lbs. going 3 – 2 for the tournament and senior Evie Brown finished 3^rd in the Girls classification at 120 lbs. going 4 – 1 for the tournament.  The boys team finished 21^st in the field of 35 teams and the girls team finished 32^nd in the field of 105 teams.  Also wrestling for the Gators were sophomore Devin Phillips (106 lbs.), junior Kamani Gainer (132 lbs.), junior Eric Gaspar (138 lbs.), senior Jon Robertson (144 lbs.), junior Wyatt Deal (157 lbs.), junior Zach Rodriguez (175 lbs.) and junior Samantha Savinon-Rios (135 lbs.).  Complete results are listed below:
