Area 3AAAAA Traditional tournament

The Ware Co. Gator wrestling team finished 4^th overall in the Area 3 AAAAA Traditional wrestling tournament, qualifying 7 out of 12 wrestlers last Saturday. The Gator wrestlers who advanced to represent Area 3 AAAAA in the East Sectional are sophomore Brandon Foster (113 lbs) going 2-1 and placing 2^nd, junior Cole White (152 lbs) going  2-1 and placing 2nd, senior Dalton Soper (160 lbs) going 3-1 and placing 3^rd, senior David Soper (170 lbs) going 2-2 and placing 4^th, sophomore Nawin Hyers (182 lbs) going 1-2 and placing 4^th, junior Britton Jones (195 lbs) going 2-1 and placing 2^nd, senior Brandon Rowland (HW) going 2-1 and placing 3rd. The Gators did not enter weight classes 126 and 145.

The qualifiers will be headed to Allatoona High School in Acworth, GA on Friday to participate in the AAAAA East Sectional tournament. The top 8 placers in the sectional will qualify for the state traditional tournament in Duluth, GA.
