GHSA Class 5A State Traditional Tournament

The Gator wrestling team sent 12 wrestlers to Macon for the GHSA Class 5A State Traditional tournament.  The Gators finished 7^th overall placing 6 and having 3 losing in the blood round.  Placing for the Gators were Kooper Thomas (jr.) at 145 lbs. placing 4^th  Reese Poole (sr.) at 126 lbs. placing 5^th, and Ethan Frye (jr.) at 106 lbs., Cannon White (jr.) at 152 lbs., Conner White (jr.) at 160 lbs., and Jesus Hernandez (jr.) at 182 lbs. all placing 6^th.  Finishing top 8 for the Gators were Nick Felton (sr.) at 170 lbs., Zay Taylor (sr.) at 220 lbs., and Israel Smalls (sr.) at 285 lbs.  Also qualifying for the Gators were Grayson Smith (so.) at 120 lbs., Dustin Varnadore (sr.) at 132 lbs., and Mosies Butler (sr.) at 138 lbs.  Tournament brackets can be viewed at www.trackwrestling.com  Complete individual results and team scores are listed below:
