3peat for the Gators as they win third consecutive Region Championship!

The Gator wrestlers captures their third consecutive region championship on Saturday 1/5/13 at home to qualify for the state dual championship to be held in Macon on Jan. 10 – 12.  There were 4 teams in the tournament Saturday: Ware (1^st place), Effingham Co. (2^nd place), Richmond Hill (3^rd place), and Glynn Academy (4^th place).  In the first round the gators met Glynn academy defeating them 74 – 3.  In the region finals match, Ware battled Effingham County besting them 42 – 27.  The gators also honored their senior wrestlers on Saturday.  The senior gator wrestlers are KP Boatright, Demarrio Buckhalter, Dale Johnson, Isaac King, Lewy Morrison, David Shavers, Caron Taylor, and John Williams.  John Williams also remains undefeated with a record of 43 – 0.
